We recognize that we’re part of a global economy- a world where global warming, pollution, and massive waste are major factors. We want to be part of the solution, not part of the problem. We want to be a sustainable company making efforts to add zero waste to landfills by utilising a closed loop manufacturing process where all products are made from recycled raw materials. Everything from the tools themselves, the packaging, the inks, and the manufacturing processes should all be sustainable. It’s a daunting task and it won’t happen overnight, but we can’t introduce a new product in good conscience without taking these factors into consideration and we hope other manufacturers will follow suit.

Hi ladies, and congratulations on your new blog!
Here’s my idea on good design: It is every designers’ responsibility to ask: “does the world need another so-and-so? will this product improve the one that it’s replacing? will new solutions cause new problems?” whoaa, this could go on forever… so does the world need another drill? nope. does the world need a drill that is designed for women (it seems to be working with snowboards..)? maybe. final question, grand finale>>> does the world need a drill that is designed with sustainability in mind and it’s for women or men with women’s hands? yes. maybe not so much because it’s a drill, but what counts most right now, is to get the consumer’s attention. the average consumer needs to learn about environmental issues and since humans are so f-ing hungry for new stuff all the time, what better way than to feed them the message within the products they buy.
you’re concept for the competition sounds great.
