To many there is a debate of whether you should go over or under. Some people consider it a pet peeve to start the roll of toilet paper the wrong way or you might like to make a nice little fold like my mom. Now there is even more proof that toilet paper should start over and not under. A recent study found that you are more likely to use less toilet paper if the roll starts at the top rather than the bottom. If you don’t know where to start going “green” this is truly your chance. They also advise against the “one hand” tear b/c you are less likely to truly tear the correct amount. So please take my advice and reconsider your roll!
